BabelViz is designed for teams working with multilingual business data and terminology.

Customer content remains under customer control. We do not sell or monetize customer data.

We rely on trusted infrastructure and AI providers to operate the service. Customer data is not used to train shared models unless explicitly agreed.

AI-generated outputs may require human validation before production use.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Availability

BabelViz targets 99.5% monthly uptime, excluding maintenance, third-party outages, beta features, force majeure, and misuse.

Scheduled maintenance is performed periodically and kept to a minimum.

Support

Support is provided during UK business hours (Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 UK time, excluding public holidays).

Incident Response

  • Critical — service unavailable (response target: 4 hours)
  • High — major feature impact (1 business day)
  • Medium — partial degradation (2 business days)
  • Low — minor issues or requests (best effort)

Response targets are indicative and do not guarantee resolution times.

Exclusions

  • Beta or experimental features
  • Customer infrastructure or network issues
  • Third-party service failures
  • Force majeure events
  • Abuse or misuse of the platform

No service credits apply unless agreed in writing.

Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

Roles

Customer is the data controller. BabelViz acts as data processor.

Processing

We process personal data only to provide and secure the service, including:

  • Translation and language processing
  • Glossary and terminology management
  • Dashboards and reporting
  • Hosting and infrastructure operations
  • Support and diagnostics

Security

  • Encryption in transit
  • Access controls and least privilege access
  • Monitoring and audit logging
  • Secure backups and recovery procedures

Subprocessors

We use third-party providers for infrastructure, AI processing, analytics, and support. All subprocessors are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

International Transfers

Data may be processed outside the UK or EEA with appropriate legal safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Deletion

Upon termination, customer data is deleted or returned within a reasonable period unless retention is legally required.
